Purpose

Hipot (High Voltage Test Set) DTE 70/50T is designed for:

  • testing the insulation of power high-voltage electrical cables using rectified voltage with an amplitude value up to 70 kV.
  • testing solid dielectrics with sinusoidal alternating voltage of industrial frequency up to 50 kV (RMS), e.g., high-voltage components of distribution equipment;
  • laboratory and research purposes.

Work in lim mode

This video demonstrates the operation mode of the DTE-70/50T high voltage hipot test set during an insulation withstand test. Voltage and current limiting functions are enabled to ensure safe and controlled testing conditions. In this example, the protection system is triggered automatically when the preset voltage level of 28 kV is reached, preventing overload and protecting both the device and the tested object.
This video demonstrates the timed test operation mode of the DTE-70/50T high voltage hipot test set. The example shows a 1-minute test duration, while the timer can be adjusted from 1 to 31 minutes according to specific insulation testing requirements and test procedures.
